Reliance Entertainment Pvt Ltd is a division of the Reliance Group handling its media and entertainment business, across content and distribution platforms. The company was founded on February 15, 2005 as two entities namely Reliance Big Entertainment and BIG Pictures. Four years later the two companies were merged into Reliance BIG Pictures in 2009 and the company's name was changed to Reliance Entertainment the following year.
