West Mulholland
Born near the salty shores of San Clemente, California, West Mulholland grew up surfing the iconic waves of Trestles and San Onofre, where he reoccurred as Axel on TNT’s crime drama, “Animal Kingdom.” He was most recently seen in MGM’s feature film “Dark Harvest” for director David Slade, and will next star in Steven Soderbergh’s thriller film “Presence,” which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
While a student at the Orange County School of the Arts, he participated in Anna Deavere Smith’s Identity Project master class, where he wrote, produced, and performed “Mochi,” a segment on his Tisoy Filipino & Japanese ethnicity. Before that, he was in FX’s Marvel comic book series, “Legion” and Hulu’s drama “Little Fires Everywhere.” West also appeared in the dramatic film “A Great Divide” which debuted in the summer of 2023. West is committed to ocean conservation and social justice and is surfing Steamer Lane while studying Film and Creative Writing at Stanford.
