Born in Chicago, Skye is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. After her enlistment was fulfilled, Skye returned to Chicago where she graduated from Northeastern Illinois University, with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Communication, Media & Theatre (CMT Program). She moved to New York City where she trained at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and at Broadway Dance Center, all while working full-time at a pharmaceutical marketing firm. That’s where she realized a cubicle was her own personal “hell” and that it was time to pursue her dreams of acting in TV and Film, professionally.

Skye will star opposite Academy Award winner, Kathy Bates, on CBS’s new drama, Matlock. Her previous series regular role was Dr. Lex Trulie in the CBS Network medical drama “Good Sam” with Sophia Bush and Jason Isaacs. She can be seen in the hit CBS cop drama, “East New York” as reporter, Nadia Nye. Also, a heavy recurring role in Netflix, Greg Berlanti Productions series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” starring alongside Kiernan Shipka as Mambo Marie, a powerful Haitian Voodoo Priestess. Some additional television credits include This is Us, 9-1-1, a major recurring role on CW/DC Comics Black Lightning, The Rookie, NCIS, Major Crimes, Shameless, Grey’s Anatomy and more.

In upcoming features, Skye made a splash at the Sundance Film Festival 2023 for her performance in the drama, To Live and Die and Live. She will co-star alongside Peter Sarsgaard in “Coup!” and in “Park Ave” starring Fiona Shaw. She also recently starred as Kayla Scott, in her headline role in the Hallmark Rom-Com film, “To Her With Love.” Skye also had the honor of starring alongside Sir Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino in Lionsgate feature film, “Misconduct” and she stars in the Rom-Com feature film, “A Nice Girl Like You” with Lucy Hale. And her star continues to rise. Skye resides bi-coastal between Los Angeles, CA and Brooklyn, NY.
