An actor with the potential for breakout stardom, Sierra Nicole McCormick landed regular work as a child actor shortly after moving to Los Angeles from Asheville, North Carolina at age 9. Her roles were largely in television until she was cast as a co-star opposite Selena Gomez in Ramona and Beezus (2010).

McCormick enjoyed a string of successes with Disney in the series A.N.T. Farm (2011-2014) and Jessie (2011-2015), and then moved into darker roles in the horror features, Some Kind of Hate (2015), VFW (2019) and We Need to Do Something (2020), but delivered her most interesting work to date as a talkative switchboard operator in Andrew Patterson’s widely praised indie science fiction film, The Vast of Night (2019). Signs of McCormick’s possible star qualities are starting to appear, such as in the upcoming Sophia Sabella/Pablo Feldman feature debut, Sour Milk.

Personal Details

Although Sierra McCormick was born in Asheville, N.C., she was raised in Palm Springs, CA. McCormick was a busy child actor in television, including major series such as Monk, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Curb Your Enthusiasm, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Hannah Montana. She has joint hypermobility syndrome, in which a person has very flexible joints that cause pain. Her sister is producer Kayla McCormick.
