Neha Sharma

Neha Sharma is a well-known Indian model and actress. Sharma received his primary and secondary education in Bihar and attended Mount Carmel School in Bhagalpur.

Sharma went to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in New Delhi, where she studied fashion design and got her degree. She began her acting career with the Telugu movie Chirutha (2007), which was directed by Puri Jagannadh. The movie also starred Ram Charan and Prakash Raj.

Sharma also appeared in Kurradu (2009), directed by Sandeep Gunnam. She played the role of Hema in the movie. The movie starred Varun Sandesh and P. Ravi Shankar and was made in Telugu.

She debuted in the Hindi film industry with the movie Crook: It’s Good to Be Bad (2010), starring Emraan Hashmi and was directed by Mohit Suri.

Sharma played the lead role in Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (2012), directed by Ekta Kapoor. The movie was directed by Sachin Yardi and starred Riteish Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor, and Sarah Jane Dias.

Sharma also played a small role in Teri Meri Kahaani (2012), starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra Jonas and was directed by Kunal Kohli.

Sharma appeared in the film Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story (2013) in the role of Simran Desai opposite Vivek Oberoi. She was also a part of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013), starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol and Youngistaan (2014), starring Jackky Bhagnani. She also played a role in the short film Kriti (2016), starring Radhika Apte, Manoj Bajpayee and Shantanu Shrikant Bhake.

Sharma also appeared in the Chinese historical adventure film Xuan Zang (2016), selected as China’s official entry for the 89th Academy Awards. She played a pivotal role along with Sonu Sood and Ali Fazal.

Sharma then acted in Tum Bin II (2016), opposite Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati. She was also seen portraying the role of an advocate ‘Nafisa Qureshi’ in Mubarakan (2017), opposite Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz and was directed by Anees Bazmee.

When it comes to regional cinema, Sharma made her debut as an actress in the film Solo (2017), starring Dulquer Salmaan. She has also appeared in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020), where she portrayed the character of Kamla Devi. The movie also starred Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Saif Ali Khan, and Sharad Kelkar.

Sharma’s first web series was Illegal – Justice, Out of Order (2020). The series also starred Piyush Mishra, Akshay Oberoi, Kubbra Sait and Satyadeep Misra. She also debuted in Punjabi films with the film Ik Sandhu Hunda Si (2020), opposite Gippy Grewal and Vikramjeet Virk.

Sharma played the role of ‘Lallo’ in her subsequent film, Aafat-e-Ishq (2021), starring Ila Arun and Namit Das. She then went on to work on the Hindi movie Jogira Sara Ra Ra (2023), starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Sharma’s next was a short story called Vikalp (2021), directed by Dheeraj Jindal. She has appeared in several music videos like Tony Kakkar: Dheeme Dheeme (2019) with Tony Kakkar, Galib (2020) with B. Praak, Dil Ko Karaar Aaya with Yasser Desai and Neha Kakkar, Lambo Car with Guri, Thoda Thoda Pyaar (2021) with Stebin Ben, Pehli Pehli Baarish (2022) with Yasser Desai.

Sharma was the brand ambassador of the Japanese skincare brand and became the new face of Spawake in the country. She was also the brand ambassador for Garnier Color Naturals’ new brand, along with Taapsee Pannu and Angira Dhar.
