Madeleine Gardella
Madeleine Gardella is an American actress from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She is no stranger to performance, having landed her first theater job at the age of 11 in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Gardella’s background includes training at prestigious ballet institutions such as The Rock School for Dance Education, American Ballet Theater, and Bolshoi. She had a successful professional ballet career and danced numerous principal roles in ballets such as “Coppelia” and “The Nutcracker.” In 2017 she moved from dance to her true passion, acting, while simultaneously attending college. In December 2020, she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Digital Journalism and Media from Pennsylvania State University.
She can be seen in Season 2 of “Leverage: Redemption” and Tubi’s “Crushed” as ‘Jill’. Her other credits include Sarah in the award-winning indie feature “All About Sex” and ‘Bay’ in the indie short “Don’t Write Me Off.”
In Fall 2022, two weeks into earning her MFA in the Producers Program at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television, Gardella was cast in Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis. In Megalopolis, Gardella joins the likes of Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, Laurence Fishburne, Jon Voight, Talia Shire, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Schwartzman, and Dustin Hoffman in the film. While details around the film’s story remain closely guarded, it centers on an architect who seeks to rebuild New York City as a utopia after a disaster.
