After a six-year run in a co-lead role in the hit Channel 4 series, Hollyoaks (2002-2008), Guy Burnet began to land minor roles in feature films, including Two Jacks (2012), Bernard Rose’s adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s story, “Two Hussars,” co-starring Danny Huston, Sienna Miller, Jacqueline Bisset, Jack Huston; director David Koepp’s comedy, Mortdecai (2015), with Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ewan McGregor; and Zoe Cassavetes’ feminist Hollywood drama, Day Out of Days (2015), with Christa B. Allen, Melanie Griffith, and Eddie Izzard.

The first hit movie with Burnet was the smash musical comedy, Pitch Perfect 3 (2017), with Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, and Elizabeth Banks, earning $185 million worldwide. Burnet played a supporting role in the commercial and critically failed remake, Jacob’s Ladder (2019), with Michael Ealy and Jesse Williams. Burnet co-starred in his biggest role to date opposite Melissa Barrera in Lori Evans Taylor’s horror drama, Bed Rest (2022).

Personal Details

Born and raised in London, Guy Burnet was a student at London-based Holland Park School. He performed in school plays and went to study acting with Ivana Chubbuck. Before successfully auditioning for his hit lead role in the long-running (British) Channel 4 show, Hollyoaks, Burnet had tried out for professional international football with the Queens Park Rangers Football School. He is not married and with no children.
