Gino J.H. McKoy (birthname: Gino Justin Hudson McKoy) is a Canadian director-writer-producer who began his show business career in music. McKoy made his feature debut as a filmmaker with the sci-fi thriller, Lumina (2024), starring Rupert Lazarus, Ken Lawson, and Eric Roberts, produced by Goldove Entertainment and released wide by Porter+Craig Film and Media.
McKoy was director/writer/producer of the crime thriller, Little Mizz Innocent (date to be announced), originally slated to film in 2015 with Olga Kurylenko in the starring role but was postponed. McKoy’s third feature as director/writer/producer was the sci-fi action feature, Spidersweb (date to be announced), and co-produced and co-written by Michael Sloan.

Gino J.H. McKoy was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, and raised by parents Hudson and Lynda McKoy (banking executives) in Port of Spain and Canada. McKoy attended and graduated from the University of Toronto with double degrees in Political Science and World Religion. McKoy later studied music and voice at the Mississauga School of Music when he switched his career from banking to music. McKoy’s height is 6’.
