Daniel Zovatto was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica by parents Daniel Zovatto Garetto (Argentinian-born politician) and Sylvia Blanco (TV personality). He developed his interest in acting by joining his mother on the TV set of the talk show she hosted. Zovatto moved to New York and then Los Angeles to pursue a career in the movies and television.
