Charles Edwin Powell

Originally from Texas and more than three decades of professional experience in film, television and voice over, he and his family reside in New York. He has had great the pleasure of studying in Los Angeles, California with the legendary Sal Dano in his prestigious “Black Box Studio”, and Ms.Zina Provendie, former head drama coach at MGM Studios.

In 2008 he stepped away from the Industry for family reasons while continuing to study his craft and focusing on Voice Over work. In 2021, he returned to the On-Camera world ending his 13 year absence from the Cinematic Industry.

In the VO studio, he has done voice work for several high profile clients such as Home Depot, Volkswagen, McDonalds, Zing Toys and Coke Zero to name a few.
