Babette Bombshell

Actor / Producer / Director

Babette Bombshell began her career performing in Chicago Illinois, where she studied Improv, while doing stand up, cable access TV and independent films. After finding a home in the horror genre, Babette began to work with legends in the industry like Herschell Gordon Lewis and Lloyd Kaufman. As an advocate for gender queer performers, Babette considers taking roles as both male and female characters to be a form of activism. In 2018, Babette took on the challenge of recreating Roger Ailes (the founder of Fox News) in the documentary Divide and Conquer (2018). This film not only was Emmy nominated, but also garnished Babette a feature interview in The New Yorker. In addition to acting, Babette is an accomplished fine artist, with works in the permanent collection of the Museum of Visionary Art, in Baltimore MD. She is known for her work in Troma’s Return to Nuke ‘Em High films, The Uh-Oh show (2009), Model Hunger (2016) and Divide and Conquer (2018).
