Early life and education

Reynolds was born in Brixham, Devon, England. He grew up as the youngest sibling in his family, where he developed an early interest in acting, participating in school productions and local theatre from the age of eight. Reynolds received his primary education at Eden Park Primary School before progressing to Brixham College. After completing his secondary education, Reynolds pursued a BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts at South Devon College. He then advanced his studies in acting by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mark & St. John University. Following his graduation, Reynolds moved to Bristol, where he resided from 2018 to 2023, before relocating to London in 2023.

Career

Reynolds’s career in acting took a turn in 2020 with his portrayal of Robert in the British romantic thriller Rebecca, directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Lily James and Armie Hammer. Following this, Reynolds further established his presence in cinema with his performance as Trevor in Empire of Light released in 2022, a drama directed by Sam Mendes and featuring Olivia Colman and Colin Firth. Additionally, he played Leo in the historical thriller Firebrand in 2023, directed by Karim Ainouz and co-starring Jude Law and Alicia Vikander. In 2024, Reynolds is set to appear as Mr. Smith in Paddington in Peru, directed by Dougal Wilson and starring Hugh Bonneville and Ben Whishaw.
