Sydney Lemmon (birthname: Sydney Noël Lemmon) is a rising young actor who is classically trained and already displays a keen eye for prestige projects. Her first significant film was Dan Gilroy’s black comedy about the Los Angeles art scene, Velvet Buzzsaw (2019), with Jake Gyllenhaal, Toni Collette, Rene Russo, and Tom Sturridge. Lemmon co-starred with Zac Efron in the Universal/Blumhouse remake of Stephen King’s Firestarter (2022), followed by Matthew Charman’s science fiction film, The Mothership (2022) and Todd Field’s highly anticipated Tár (2022), with Cate Blanchett, Nina Hoss, and Mark Strong.

Her TV appearances have been equally striking, with a guest role opposite Jeremy Strong in Season 2 of Jesse Armstrong’s Succession (2019), and a recurring role in AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead (2019-2021). Sydney Lemmon’s highest-profile role to date is lead of the Marvel/Hulu series, Helstrom, with Tom Austen. Personal Details

Born in Los Angeles but raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut, Sydney Lemmon comes from a distinguished acting family. Her father is actor Chris Lemmon, and her grandfather is the late, great Jack Lemmon. Her brother is actor Jon Lemmon, with whom she collaborates on music. As a holder of the Julie Harris Scholarship, Sydney Lemmon earned her Bachelors in Acting from Boston University and her Masters’s degree in Acting from the Yale School of Drama in 2017. Lemmon also attended London’s prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and Boston University. Her height is 5’ 10”.
