Russell G. Jones is an Audelco, Obie, and SAG Award-winning actor whose pursuit of the craft includes work as a director, producer, youth development expert, teacher, moderator, facilitator, and equity consultant. He was an active member of LAByrinth Theater Company for over 20 years and he is the founder of Blnd Spot, a campaign that facilitates critical cross-cultural dialogue by providing context and tools for perceiving racial inequity. Adept on camera he also has over 50 credits on IMDB. Some film highlights include Queen of Glory, Motherless Brooklyn, Side Effects & Robert Patton Spruill’s Squeeze. On the small screen as a series regular opposite Edie Falco in CBS’ Tommy, recurring on Hulu’s Only Murders In The Building and in Scott Frank’s Western for Netflix Godless. In 2023 he’ll be recurring in Steven Soderbergh’s Full Circle on HBO. Jones has been a fixture on New York City stages since the mid-90s Russell is proud to have originated roles in Lynn Nottage’s “Ruined”, Suzan-Lori Parks’ “Father Comes Home From The Wars Parts 1, 2 & 3”, Fernanda Coppel’s “King Liz” and two by Stephen Adly Guirgis “Our Lady of 121st Street” and “In Arabia We’d All Be Kings”.
