Best known as Missandei on HBO’s Game of Thrones and as computer hacker Ramsey in the Fast & Furious series, Natalie Emmanuel (birthname: Natalie Joanne Emmanuel) is the star of Jessica Thompson’s Gothic drama, The Invitation (2022), with Stephanie Corneliussen and Thomas Doherty. Emmanuel began as a child actor, landing her first significant role on London’s West End stage in The Lion King in 1999, followed by a long-running role in the British teen soaper, Hollyoaks, from 2006 to 2010. Her feature debut was a supporting role in the indie British thriller, Twenty8k, with Parminder Nagra and Stephen Dillane.

Emmanuel next landed roles in two running film franchises: Furious 7 (2015), and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015), with Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito, Barry Pepper, Lili Taylor, and Patricia Clarkson. Emmanuel resumed her role as Ramsey in F. Gary Gray’s The Fate of the Furious (2017), with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron, as well as continuing her role as Harriet in Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018), with new cast members Walton Goggins and Will Poulter. Emmanuel was part of the ensemble of Netflix’s sci-fi thriller, The Titan (2018), with Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling, and Tom Wilkinson.

Nathalie Emmanuel’s first feature film starring role was in Joshua Friedlander’s comedy-drama, Holly Slept Over (2020), with Josh Lawson, Ron Livingston, and Britt Lower. Once again, Emmanuel joined the Fast & Furious crew for her third entry in the franchise, Justin Lin’s F9 (2021), with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron.

Emmanuel co-starred with star-director Matthias Schweighöfer in the Zack Snyder-written/produced prequel to his feature, Army of the Dead (2021) titled Army of Thieves (2021) for Netflix. Director Simon Cellan Jones’ endurance race drama, Arthur the King (date to be announced), starring Mark Wahlberg and Simu Liu, was Emmanuel’s next feature project. Emmanuel is set to resume her Ramsey role in director Louis Leterrier’s Fast X (2023), whose cast will include Rita Moreno, Alan Ritchson, Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, and Cardi B, as well as Fast & Furious 10 Part 2 (2024).

She stars in David Harewood’s British boxing drama, Benn/Eubank (date to be announced), with David Jonsson, David Harewood, and O-T Fagbenle. Emmanuel has been announced as a cast member of Francis Ford Coppola’s long-anticipated romantic drama, Megalopolis (date to be announced), with co-stars Adam Driver, Forest Whitaker, and Jon Voight.

Natalie Emmanuel was born and raised in the Essex province town of Southend-on-Sea in England. Her mother, of mixed British and Dominican heritage, is Debbie Emmanuel, while her father is of mixed British and Saint Lucian heritage. Emmanuel has one sister named Louise Emmanuel. Emmanuel attended St. Hilda’s School and Westcliff High School for Girls grammar school. Emmanuel’s height is 5’ 7”.
