Megan Fox (birthname: Megan Denise Fox) is the rare sex symbol and pin-up girl, in a generation unknown to many of them. Megan Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and raised in Rockwood, Tennessee by parents Franklin (parole officer) and Gloria Fox. Fox has one sister, Kristi Fox. Fox’s parents divorced when she was three; her mother remarried to Tony Tonachio. Fox was raised in a strict Pentecostal household. Fox’s interest in dance and drama began early at five years old when she trained at a center in Kingston, Tennessee while attending Kingston Elementary School, where she was also in the school chorus and swim team. Her family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, when she was ten years old. Fox began modeling at age 13 and won modeling awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention.

Some Facts About Megan Fox
Health Issues: Megan Fox suffered from manic depression and eating disorders as a teenager; she determined that her depression was genetic. Fox also has a form of brachydactyly (or clubbed thumb), OCD, self-harming tendencies, and insecurities stemming from low self-esteem.
Regrets: In 2010, after being the subject of media over-exposure, Fox commented that “my biggest regret is that I’ve assisted the media in making me a cartoon character. I don’t regret what happened to me, but I regret how I have dealt with it.”
