Kazuhiro Furuhashi (birthname: Furuhashi Kazuhiro) is one of the most prominent directors in Japanese anime filmmaking for both television and the big screen. Furuhashi began his animation career as a key animator and storyboard artist in the 1980s and 1990s, working on various features including Locke the Superman (1984), Grey Digital Target (1986), and Ranma ½: The Movie 2, Nihao My Concubine (1992).

Furuhashi made his feature debut as a writer-director was Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1 (2017), Japan; and then was a writer only on the sequel, Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 2 (2018), which was produced by Nippon Animation and released by Warner Bros. Japan. Furuhashi was director of the sequel, Spy x Family Code: White (2023), co-written by Ichiro Okouchi and Tatsuya Endo (the latter of whom is the creator of the original manga), starring Takuya Eguchi, produced by Wit Studio/CloverWorks and released by Toho with Japanese box office returns of $44 million.
