Cailey Fleming (birthname: Cailey Presley Fleming) is a successful child and teen actor best known for her recurring role over four seasons of AMC’s long-running hit series, The Walking Dead (2018-2022), and whose big-screen acting career began at age eight as Young Rey in Disney’s $447 million Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, and Max von Sydow, under J.J. Abrams’ direction, and which grossed a blockbuster $2 billion.

Fleming was cast in a supporting role at age nine in writer-director Bill Purple’s indie drama, The Book of Love (2016), starring Jason Sudeikis, Jessica Biel, Maisie Williams, Mary Steenburgen, Orlando Jones, and Paul Reiser, and released by Electric Entertainment after a premiere at the Tribeca film festival.

Fleming was cast in two little-seen movies—first, the action-horror feature, Armed Response (2017), with Wesley Snipes, Anne Heche, and Gene Simmons (who also produced, with Snipes); and Desolation (2017), with Dominik Garcia, Raymond J. Barry, and Brock Kelly—and then appeared in the action comedy, Supercon (2018), co-written and directed by Zack Knutson and featuring Ryan Kwanten, Maggie Grace, Mike Epps, Russell Peters, Clancy Brown, and John Malkovich, and released by Archstone Distribution. Fleming was then cast in support in the Matt Osterman-directed sci-fi thriller, Hover (2018), written by and starring Cleopatra Coleman, with Shane Coffey, Craig muMs Grant, Fabianne Therese, Leo Fitzpatrick, and Beth Grant.

Cailey Fleming was cast opposite Jennifer Garner, John Ortiz, John Gallagher Jr., and Juan Pablo Raba in the Pierre Morel-directed vigilante drama, Peppermint (2018), grossing a fair $54 million global return against $23 million costs. Fleming scored her first lead role in director/writer/producer/actor John Krasinski’s fantasy adventure, IF (2024), starring (in live-action roles) Ryan Reynolds, Krasinski, Fiona Shaw, and Bobby Moynihan, with lead voice actors Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Louis Gossett Jr., and released wide by Paramount Pictures.
