Australian Film Director and Screenwriter. Directed ‘Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher’ starring Oscar Winner® Russell Crowe, Ray Winstone, Marton Csokas, Jodhi May, Matt Hookings and Steven Berkoff in 2022. Wrote and Directed ‘Opus Zero’ with Willem Dafoe in 2017. In 2019 his second feature film as Writer and Director was ‘The Obscure Life of the Grand Duke of Corsica’ with Timothy Spall and Peter Stormare.In 2012 he was Line Producer on Carlos Reygadas’ Cannes Film Festival Winner ‘Light After Darkness’. Earlier in his career he directed short films in Australia and France, worked in film distribution and interviewed many great filmmakers such as Theo Angelopoulos, Bela Tarr, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Alexander Sokurov, Aki Kaurismäki, Claire Denis, Jacques Audiard, Ousmane Sembene, Olivier Assayas and Todd Solondz.
