Some Facts About Tom Gormican

Creator: Extending his work beyond film, Tom Gormican is the creator (with his Unbearable Weight writing partner Kevin Etten) of the Fox TV crime comedy series, Ghosted (2017-2018), starring Craig Robinson, Adam Scott, and Ally Walker.

Black List: Gormican’s screenplay, Are We Officially Dating? made the ranks of the 2010 Black List of best unproduced scripts.

Determination: After pitching Nicholas Cage several times about playing a twisted version of himself in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, and after receiving numerous rejections, Tom Gormican wrote Cage a personal letter that convinced the actor to change his mind about the project.
