Animation director Jeff Fowler is a fast-rising talent in Hollywood feature animation. After breaking through as the maker of the Oscar-nominated short, Gofer Broke (2005), he wrote the short, A Gentlemen’s Duel (2006), developed CGI and visual effects for the video game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009).

Fowler’s work on the Shadow video game led to his involvement in a feature version, Sonic the Hedgehog, which became a box-office hit in 2020. Strong fan response earned Fowler a return as director of the sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog II, opening in Spring, 2022.
