Mika Amonsen
Mika Amonsen, originally from Canada, grew up in a small town outside of Toronto. His parents were extremely supportive of the arts and encouraged him to pursue his interest in music at a young age. His mother was a dancer and father, a rock n roll enthusiast. After discovering the electric guitar at thirteen he spent the next five years in a rock band. His band went on to record a ten track album, play large local venues and open for Canadian acts such as Kim Mitchell. After graduating high school he hung up his guitar and decided to attend university. He was a dedicated student, but began dedicating more time to his love for film. Though he was a fan of cinema his entire life, even taking drama throughout high school, he never thought of pursuing it as a career. Mika’s fasting growing obsession with the work of Tom Hardy, Heath Ledger and Christian Bale lead his classmates to encourage him to try acting. After completing his first year of post secondary education he began attending acting classes in Toronto and quickly signed with an agency. Since then he’s acted alongside Alan Ritchson in Reacher, worked with directors such as Eli Roth in Thanksgiving and begins filming Whistle this year.
