Pietro Sermonti

Pietro Sermonti was born in Rome. He studied directing and acting in Italy and the United States, where he attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and the New York Film Academy. In 1997 he starred in “Tutto a posto,” directed by Giacomo Ciarrapico, with whom he made his big-screen debut with the feature film “Piccole anime.” He starred in the third and fourth seasons of “Un medico in famiglia.” In 2008 he returned to cinema with the film “Amore, bugie e calcetto” directed by Luca Lucini, and on TV with the second season of “Boris.” In 2011 he starred in “Boris – Il Film” directed by Ciarripico-Torre-Vendruscolo. In 2013 he starred in the musical “Full Monty” directed by Massimo Romeo Piparo. In 2014 he is one of the leads in the revelation film of the year “Smetto quando voglio” by Sidney Sibilia and in the sequels “Smetto quando voglio – Masterclass” and “Smetto quando voglio – Ad honorem.” He continued to alternate film projects–“Confusi e felici” “Corro da te” “Cristian e Palletta contro tutti” “Terapia di coppia per amanti” “Bangla” “Bentornato presidente”–with TV projects–“Tutto può succedere” “Cops – Una banda di poliziotti.” In 2022 he played the role of Stanis in the fourth season of the TV series “Boris” and starred in the TV series “Sono Lillo” with Lillo Petrolo.
