Chauntal Lewis
Birthplace – Oxnard, California, USA
Chauntal Lewis was born and raised in Oxnard, California and has been performing on stage since the age of 5. With several talents including dancing, singing and theater, Chauntal broke into show business at a young age with ease. Chauntal is recurring on ABC’s “General Hospital” as Nurse Chanel since 2015. Chauntal’s portrayal of Alison in the Lionsgate film, Séance (2006), won her Best Supporting Actress at the 2008 FAITA Awards. Shortly after, she starred in The Commune (2009), representing her first lead role in a Feature Film where she also contributed as Associate Producer on the project that won critical acclaim. Several other credits include: Lifetime’s A Friend’s Betrayal (1996) and For the People (2002), Coach Carter (2005), Beerfest (2006), and YouTube multi-million hit sensation Lindsay Fully Loaded (2007), which earned her rave reviews on Access Hollywood (1996) and Entertainment Tonight (1981) among others.
After a traumatic car accident March 18, 2009, which resulted in the amputation of her left hand that could have ended Chauntal’s life, she has gone against all odds and bounced back into her career with the passion, drive, and determination to make her indelible mark on this industry. When she steps on set it’s nearly impossible to not fall in love with who she is on and off stage. In fact, in November 2010, she caught the attention of Nike and was handpicked for their LA Destroyer campaign: “More than an actress, more than an athlete; an innovator in her craft, an LA Gamechanger”.
