Kristen Harris (birthname: Kristen Shelley Harris) is a veteran Canadian-born actor with nearly three decades of TV and film credits. Her debut performance was in CBS’ series, Vinegar Hill (2005), with Mary-Louise Parker, leading to several years of roles in U.S. and Canadian television.

Her first significant feature role was in Bevan Klassen’s Canadian psychological drama, Of Games and Escapes (2010). Harris next joined writer-director Shelagh Carter for the domestic drama, Passionflower (2011), for which Harris won an ACTRA award for Best Performance by a Female Artist.

Harris joined the ensemble of writer-director Collin Friesen’s black comedy, Sorry For Your Loss (2018), with Bruce Greenwood, Inbar Lavi, Sandrine Holt, Justin Bartha, and Lolita Davidovitch. In the same year, Harris joined the cast of writer-director David Raymond’s crime thriller, Night Hunter, with Ben Kingsley, Stanley Tucci, Henry Cavill, and Alexandra Daddario. Soon after, Harris was cast in writer-director Assaf Bernstein’s psychological horror film, Look Away (2018), with India Eisley, Jason Isaacs, and Mira Sorvino.

Harris rejoined filmmaker Shelagh Carter for the relationship drama, Into Invisible Light (2018), with Jennifer Dale. Harris joined Aaron Paul for director Christopher Cantwell’s thriller, The Parts You Lose (2019), and was then cast in her first Hollywood studio movie, Fox’s Breakthrough (2019), with Marcel Ruiz, Topher Grace, Josh Lucas, Sarah Constable, and Dennis Haysbert.

Harris then landed a role in the Bob Odenkirk comedy-drama, Nobody (2021), with Connie Nielsen and Christopher Lloyd. Harris reached co-star status in writer-producer-director Lori Evans Taylor’s horror thriller, Bed Rest (2022), with Melissa Barrera, Guy Burnet, and Paul Essiembre.

Personal Details

Kristen Harris was born and raised in the Alberta provincial capital of Calgary, Canada. After high school, Harris moved to Los Angeles and joined the legendary Groundling Theatre Improv School. Harris attended and graduated from the University of Toronto, where she majored in music. Her height is 5’ 8”.
